At IFA 2026, FRITZ! showcased the future of networked living in the home – with a brand new design and innovative technology to coincide with the company’s 40th birthday. Visitors were able to experience the latest FRITZ! highlights: from ultra-fast fiber optics to powerful Mesh Wi-Fi and intelligent smart home solutions.
The centrepiece of the latest innovation, and the starting point of a new FRITZ!Box generation, is the FRITZ!Box DSL/Fiber 7-90. This design statement doesn’t just have a new, elegant exterior, but also packs a real punch: with support for fiber and DSL as well as tri-band Wi-Fi 7 with up to 12.2 Gbit/s, multi-gigabit LAN and comprehensive smart home support, it’s the perfect router for demanding digital households. Whether for gaming, working from home, streaming, or smart home – the FRITZ!Box DSL/Fiber 7-90 masters every digital scenario with ease and provides a stable, fast and secure network.
FRITZ! is expanding its fiber optic portfolio with the FRITZ!Box 5630 XGS for fast, modern XGS-PON connections with up to 10 Gbit/s, and for mobile net-works the FRITZ!Box 6835 5G with Wi-Fi 7 is waiting in the wings.
With the FRITZ!Repeater 6700 Pro, FRITZ! is expanding portfolio for Wi-Fi 7 repeaters. The quad-band repeater with 6-GHz and 10-Gbit/s LAN ensures seamless and ultra-fast Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home.
There’s also news in the smart home area: The FRITZ!Smart Energy 201 and the FRITZ!Smart Thermo 303 make your home in-telligent and energy-efficient. The upcoming FRITZ!OS 8.50 brings many new features and makes us-ing FRITZ! products even more secure and intuitive. The MyFRITZ!App also offers users more and more features, services and security functions thanks to ongoing upgrades.
Also being launched today is the FRITZ!Box 6690 Pro. This is the world’s first tri-band cable router with Wi-Fi 7, an integrated DOCSIS modem, and smart home support via Zigbee and DECT. (More information in this press release.)
